Testing is this Saturday!
I will be holding a mock testing session on Friday. The students will have a chance to play through their technique and pieces. Then I will review their theory and give them some final ear training/sight reading tips.
The Certificate of Merit evaluations will take place THIS SATURDAY. The procedure will be identical to last year's. I have emailed the playing evaluation schedules. Please make sure to arrive 30 minutes early.
Things to bring:
1. pencils and erasers
2. ALL your music books
3. CD player (optional)
The test will be held at Holy Names University. There will be signs directing you to the correct building.

About Me
I graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2009 with double majors in Music and Molecular Cell Biology. I am now a fourth year medical student at UCSD School of Medicine looking to go into the field of Dermatology, with an interest specifically in Pediatric Dermatology.
Although I am pursuing a medical career, music is still a huge part of my life and I enjoy sharing it by teaching piano and performing. I have been teaching kids for over ten years.
My main goal when teaching is to help students develop a love and passion for music. I believe that having an appreciation for music, above all else, will help my students through life. After all, “music is the medicine of the mind.”

All students are currently taking AS theory and performing evaluations (Path A). Students can also qualify for Branch Honors and will have the opportunity to perform in MTAC sponsored recitals.

Winner of multiple U.S. Open music competitions
Fremont Young Artist Award
Bach Festival Finalist
Studied under Rozina Tenenbaum and now studying under Julie Steinberg
Pianist in the University of Berkeley Symphony
Also has guitar and harpsichord background
